DAWN OF THE DEAD script

Television producer Francine and her pilot boyfriend Stephen escape a national emergency by helicopter, meeting S.W.A.T. members Roger and Peter at a marina. They establish a fortified living space in a shopping mall, but their peace is shattered when Roger turns into a zombie and a biker gang invades, attracting a massive horde. Stephen is bitten defending their sanctuary and transforms, forcing Peter to kill him. Francine and Peter make a desperate escape in the helicopter, flying into an uncertain future as the mall is overrun.
