You've Got Mail script

Kathleen Kelly, owner of the independent children's bookstore The Shop Around the Corner, and Joe Fox, heir to the Foxbooks superstore chain, are anonymous online pen pals who despise each other in real life. Kathleen's charming store faces closure due to the new Foxbooks opening across the street, intensifying her real-world animosity towards Joe, whom she frequently encounters. As their online correspondence deepens into a romantic connection, they remain unaware of each other's true identities, with Kathleen confiding in her online friend about her struggles with Joe Fox. After their respective relationships with Frank and Patricia end, Joe realizes Kathleen is his online confidante and begins to subtly woo her in person, without revealing his online identity. Joe eventually arranges a meeting with his online love, where he reveals himself as her anonymous pen pal, and Kathleen, realizing she has fallen for him both online and in person, embraces him in a kiss.
