Wealthy student Marie Clifford's stepfather, Jay, is falsely accused of rape by Elena Sandoval, who, with accomplices, fabricates evidence leading to his conviction. Marie and Elena, having conspired with Chad to frame Jay, pursue Chad through the Everglades after he steals Marie's diamonds and drugs her, resulting in Chad's death. Elena, now working with Detective Morrison, implicates Marie, and they retrieve the real diamonds from Jay's safe, only for Kristen and Elena to escape with them. Morrison and Agent Dammers later find Kristen and Elena relaxing on a beach with the stolen diamonds, where they are confronted by Jay.
