1988
Nightclub manager Bobby Green, estranged from his police officer father and brother, initially refuses to inform on Russian drug dealer Vadim Nezhinski, who operates out of his club. After Vadim's men shoot his brother and later kill his father during an escape, Bobby, consumed by guilt and a thirst for vengeance, joins the police force and goes undercover to expose Vadim's operation. Bobby brutally interrogates an associate to locate Vadim, leading to a final confrontation where Bobby pursues Vadim into a burning field and kills him, avenging his family. Having fully embraced his new path and reconciled with his brother, Bobby graduates from the police academy.
