1981
Programmer Kevin Flynn is digitized into the Electronic World by the malevolent Master Control Program (MCP) and its lieutenant Sark, who conspire to protect stolen files and restrict system access. Flynn escapes deadly games with Tron and Ram, who sacrifices himself, while Flynn learns to operate a Recognizer and Tron reunites with Yori, Lora's program alter-ego, to seek User communication. Tron, empowered by Alan, battles Sark and infiltrates the MCP chamber as Flynn and Yori send power to him, while Flynn prepares for a sacrifice. Flynn returns to the real world, exposing the truth to Alan and Lora, and becomes the new CEO of ICOM.
