Training Day script

Idealistic rookie Jake Hoyt begins his first day as an LAPD narcotics officer, partnered with the charismatic but corrupt Detective Sergeant Alonzo Harris. Alonzo immediately tests Jake's resolve by forcing him to smoke PCP, participate in street justice, and buy drugs, all while explaining his cynical philosophy of policing. The day escalates as Alonzo involves Jake in a series of increasingly illegal activities, including a fake search warrant that leads to a shootout and the murder of Alonzo's associate, Roger, during a staged raid. Alonzo then abandons Jake in a hostile gang territory, intending for him to be killed, but Jake earns the gang's respect and escapes, returning home injured but alive.

This dog's just crying, shaking. I grew up with Dobermans. I was pissed. I tell my T.O. 'I'm gonna take him.' And my T.O. is like: 'No, no. It's cool.' He fuckin' waves to Too Fine and this motherfucker smiles and waves back and keeps hitting the dog. Thought I lost my damn mind. Tells me Spooky gave him twenty bucks to beat the shit out of it. My T.O., this good 'ol boy, looks me in the eye and says: 'Teaches 'em to hate niggers.' Almost quit right there. Almost got out of the fuckin' black and white and took the bus home.
