Arthur Bishop, a meticulous professional assassin, is tasked with killing his former mentor, Harry McKenna, which he executes with cunning precision. Harry's son, Steve, seeks Bishop's help to find his father's killer, unaware of Bishop's involvement, and Bishop reluctantly takes him on as an apprentice, teaching him the deadly craft.
