1995
Amnesiac schoolteacher Samantha Caine discovers she is Charly Baltimore, a highly trained government assassin, after a car accident and a home invasion trigger violent memories. Charly's former handler and a ruthless assassin named Timothy pursue her to prevent the exposure of Chapter, a covert operation she was part of, leading to her daughter's kidnapping. Embracing her past, Charly, with the help of private investigator Mitch Henessey, rescues her daughter, kills Timothy, and stops Chapter's dirty bomb plot, though Henessey is fatally wounded. Charly then forces the high-ranking official behind Chapter to disband the organization and clear Henessey's name, returning to her suburban life while secretly continuing to use her skills to protect her family.
