Teenage siblings Joni and Laser seek out their biological father, Paul, a free-spirited restaurant owner, much to the surprise of their lesbian mothers, Nic and Jules. Paul's integration into the family causes a rift between Nic and Jules, leading Jules to begin an affair with Paul. Nic discovers the affair, resulting in a heated confrontation and intense emotional turmoil for the entire family.
