2004
Forced into retirement, former superhero Bob Parr secretly resumes hero work, leading him to accept a mysterious offer that uncovers the villainous plot of Buddy Pine, now Syndrome. Suspicious, Bob's wife Helen, also Elastigirl, discovers his activities and, with their super-powered children Violet and Dash, flies to Syndrome's island, where they are captured. The Parr family escapes and, with Frozone's help, battles Syndrome's Omnidroid in the city, ultimately defeating it and thwarting Syndrome's attempt to kidnap Jack-Jack. Three months later, as a new villain, the Underminer, emerges, the Incredibles suit up once more to protect the city.
