In the 23rd century, taxi driver Korben Dallas becomes entangled in a mission to save Earth from an approaching evil with Leeloo, the Supreme Being, and four elemental stones. They discover the stones are with an alien opera singer on a cruise ship, pursued by the industrialist Zorg and his Mangalore warriors, who also seek the powerful artifacts. After a chaotic confrontation on the ship, Korben retrieves the stones and escapes with Leeloo, Father Cornelius, and Ruby Rhod, as the Ultimate Evil rapidly approaches Earth. At the temple, Korben's confession of love reignites Leeloo's faith in humanity, enabling her to activate the Divine Light, which destroys the Ultimate Evil and saves the planet.
