The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe script

During World War II, the Pevensie children—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy—are evacuated from London to the countryside, where Lucy discovers a magical wardrobe leading to the land of Narnia, trapped in eternal winter by the White Witch. Edmund soon follows Lucy into Narnia and is swayed by the White Witch's promises of power, betraying his siblings and revealing their presence. The children, guided by the Beavers, learn of a prophecy that four human children will end the Witch's reign and restore Narnia, prompting them to seek out the true king, Aslan. Aslan, the majestic lion, sacrifices himself to save Edmund from the Witch's claim, but is resurrected, turning the tide of the final battle against the White Witch. The Pevensie children defeat the White Witch, are crowned Kings and Queens of Narnia, and rule for many years before unexpectedly returning to their own world, finding no time has passed.
