1991
Gomez Addams laments the disappearance of his brother Fester, who vanished twenty-five years ago after a fight, while the eccentric Addams family lives their macabre daily life. Gomez's lawyer, Tully Alford, conspires with a loan shark, Abigail Craven, to introduce her son, Gordon, as the long-lost Fester to infiltrate the family and steal their fortune. The family is overjoyed by Fester's return, but Wednesday Addams and Morticia Addams suspect he is an impostor, especially after he fails to recall details of his past. Tully obtains a court order, with Judge Womack ruling in favor of the imposter Fester, forcing the Addams family out of their mansion and into a small bungalow.
