SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET script

Sweeney Todd, an exiled barber, returns to London seeking revenge on Judge Turpin, who ruined his life and abducted his daughter, Johanna. With Mrs. Lovett, a pie shop owner, Todd reopens his barber shop, using the bodies of his victims, including a rival barber, as filling for her popular meat pies. After Anthony rescues Johanna from an asylum, Todd murders Turpin, only to discover the Beggar Woman he also killed was his wife, Lucy, who had survived. Enraged by Mrs. Lovett's deception, Todd throws her into the oven before being killed himself by Toby, Pirelli's former assistant, who had uncovered the truth.
