SOLDIER script

Todd, a highly trained and emotionless soldier, is raised from infancy to be a killing machine, enduring brutal training and combat throughout his life. After being deemed obsolete by the introduction of genetically superior new soldiers, Todd is severely wounded in a test fight and dumped on a junk planet, presumed dead. He is discovered and nursed back to health by a community of peaceful pioneers, particularly Sandra and her family, who teach him about humanity and compassion. When Colonel Mekum's new soldiers arrive on the planet to eliminate the pioneer settlement, Todd uses his forgotten combat skills to defend the community, engaging in a desperate battle against his former comrades. Todd ultimately defeats the new soldiers and their officers, saving the pioneers and finding a new purpose as he and his veteran comrades commandeer a spaceship to find a new home for the survivors.

Even after they made the repairs, it barely got off the ground, it was an old converted mining transport, a piece of junk to start with. It just...dropped. Maybe you saw what's left of it...out there in the wind. A lot of people died. And we couldn't make any radio contact... So we were stuck here. Nobody was happy about it.
