After her evil stepmother Queen Ravenna usurps the throne and imprisons her, Snow White escapes into the Dark Forest when Ravenna learns the magic mirror prophesies Snow White's destiny to surpass her beauty and be her undoing. Snow White, aided by Eric the Huntsman who was hired to kill her but instead protects her, gathers allies including dwarves and her childhood friend William to form an army against Ravenna. Ravenna poisons Snow White with an apple, but Eric's kiss revives her, fulfilling the prophecy and empowering her to lead the rebellion. Snow White then leads her army to Ravenna's castle, defeats the sorceress in a final battle, and is crowned Queen, restoring peace to the kingdom.
