Scream 3 - early draft script

While in Hollywood, a new Ghostface killer targets the cast of "Stab 3," a film based on Sidney Prescott's life, prompting Detective Kincaid, Gale Weathers, and Dewey Riley to investigate a series of murders that mirror the movie's script. Sidney arrives and joins the investigation, learning that her mother, Maureen Prescott, had a secret acting past, a discovery made by Gale and Jennifer Jolie before producer John Milton is murdered. Sidney is attacked by two killers, and Kincaid is killed, leading her to the "Stab 3" set where Gale and Dewey are held captive. There, Roman Bridger, the film's director and Sidney's half-brother, reveals himself as the mastermind, having orchestrated the murders with Angelina Tyler, before both are killed in a final confrontation, allowing Sidney, Gale, and Dewey to survive.
