OBLIVION script analysis
Jack Harper, a drone technician on a post-apocalyptic Earth, dutifully maintains the border beacons set up by an alien intelligence known as the Tet. After rescuing a survivor from a crashed human shuttle, Jack’s understanding of friend and foe shatters, leading him to join the human Scavengers underground. Confronted with the truth about the Tet and humanity’s plight, Jack makes a sacrificial stand inside the alien ship to destroy it, paving the way for human survival.
