Facing financial ruin and the loss of her car, thirty-one-year-old Uber driver and bartender Margot Chapman accepts a bizarre offer from wealthy parents Allison and Laird Gladwell: to "date" their socially anxious nineteen-year-old son, Percy, and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for Princeton.
