NO HARD FEELINGS script

Facing financial ruin and the loss of her car, thirty-one-year-old Uber driver and bartender Margot Chapman accepts a bizarre offer from wealthy parents Allison and Laird Gladwell: to "date" their socially anxious nineteen-year-old son, Percy, and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for Princeton. Margot's initial attempts to connect with Percy are disastrous, involving a mace attack, a nude beach encounter, and a high-speed escape from the police, but they gradually bond over shared vulnerabilities and past traumas. As Margot and Percy spend more time together, engaging in activities like dog walking, arcade games, and attending prom, their relationship deepens, and Percy begins to open up, even introducing Margot to his former nanny, Jean. However, their fragile connection shatters when Percy discovers Margot's true intentions through his parents' text messages, leading to a furious confrontation where he sabotages the car she was promised and they engage in a chaotic, destructive chase that ends with Margot being thrown into the ocean.
