Seventeen-year-old twin sisters Drew and Parker MacLeod, opposites in every way, embark on a chaotic day trip to New York City, with Drew aiming for a college interview and Parker hoping to meet her online chat friend. Their journey quickly devolves into a series of mishaps, including being mistakenly kicked off a train, getting into the wrong town car, and being chased by a suspicious chauffeur named Bennie, who they believe is involved in a dog kidnapping. In New York, the sisters evade hotel security, accidentally participate in a fashion show, and Drew inadvertently causes a diplomatic incident at the United Nations while trying to deliver a file.
