2002
Brad Gluckman, a wealthy white man from Malibu, believes he is a hip-hop gangster, much to the dismay of his father, Bill Gluckman, who is running for Governor of California. To curb Brad's disruptive behavior, Bill's campaign manager stages a fake kidnapping that goes awry when a real gang member intervenes, genuinely embroiling Brad in conflict. As Brad's posse attempts a rescue and Bill tracks his son to South Central, a chaotic standoff and explosion ensue at the gang's hideout. Ultimately, Brad abandons his gangster persona, Bill wins the election, and Brad and Shondra open a successful nail and beauty salon together.
