LAST CHANCE HARVEY script

Jaded jingle writer Harvey Shine travels to London for his estranged daughter's wedding, where he is sidelined by his ex-wife and misses the ceremony due to traffic, leading him to an airport bar. There, he meets lonely statistics worker Kate Walker, and they spend the day connecting over shared experiences, attending the wedding reception, and sharing personal histories. After a heartfelt speech to his daughter and a piano performance for Kate, Harvey suffers a heart attack and is hospitalized, leaving Kate to believe he abandoned her when he doesn't show for their planned meeting. Upon discharge, Harvey finds Kate at her workplace, and they joyfully reunite on the South Bank, ready to begin a new chapter together.
