Labyrinth script

Frustrated with babysitting, fifteen-year-old Sarah wishes her infant brother Freddie away to the Goblin King Jareth, who then kidnaps him, giving Sarah thirteen hours to solve his labyrinth and rescue the baby. Sarah enters the magical labyrinth, reluctantly aided by the dwarf Hoggle, and befriends the giant Ludo and knight Sir Didymus as she navigates strange creatures and Jareth's manipulative challenges. Jareth attempts to thwart Sarah with goblins, an enchanting ballroom sequence, and a manipulative Junk Woman as she progresses towards his castle. Sarah ultimately confronts Jareth in his Escher-like castle, breaks his power by reciting words from her play, rescues Freddie, and returns home, where her labyrinth friends appear, signifying her growth and newfound appreciation for imagination and responsibility.
