Kundun script

Identified as the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso began his spiritual and political training in Lhasa, Tibet, amidst growing threats from Communist China. Despite his efforts for peace, China invaded Tibet, forcing the young Dalai Lama to assume full temporal power and reluctantly sign the widely rejected Seventeen Point Agreement. After a Kalachakra ceremony and consulting the Nechung Oracle, he was advised to flee Lhasa for his safety. Disguised, the Dalai Lama escaped across the treacherous Himalayas to India, where he repudiated the agreement and established a government in exile, continuing his struggle for Tibetan freedom.

Dialogue examples

To the members of the United Nations: The attention of the world is riveted on Korea where aggression is being resisted by an international force. Similar happenings in remote Tibet are passing without notice. The problem is not of Tibet's own making but is largely the outcome of unthwarted Chinese ambition to bring weaker nations on her periphery within her active domination.
