Filmmaker Carl Denham sails to Skull Island with actress Ann Darrow and playwright Jack Driscoll, where Ann is captured by the colossal ape Kong. Jack rescues Ann from the dangerous jungle, prompting Denham to capture Kong and bring him to New York City for a Broadway spectacle.
