Killers of the Flower Moon script

In 1919, Ernest Burkhart moves to Fairfax, Oklahoma, to live with his uncle, William Hale, a wealthy rancher who encourages Ernest to marry Mollie Kyle, a wealthy Osage woman, to gain access to her family's oil headrights. Hale orchestrates a series of murders targeting Mollie's family, including her sisters Anna and Minnie, and her mother Lizzie, to inherit their oil wealth, while Ernest, complicit in the scheme, poisons Mollie with tainted insulin. As the death toll rises, Mollie grows suspicious and seeks help from Washington D.C., leading to a federal investigation led by FBI agent Tom White, who uncovers Hale's murderous plot and Ernest's involvement. Faced with overwhelming evidence and the death of his own child, Ernest agrees to testify against Hale, exposing the full extent of their crimes and leading to their convictions. Mollie divorces Ernest and survives the poisoning, reclaiming her life and her family's legacy, while the Osage Nation continues to honor their ancestors and fight for justice.

You can't talk - you're no different... I'm telling you a secret that you don't know... You think I open my legs for any man?

Anna Brown / Scene 57

Only if the law believes he's still married to her... but I don't take chances...I'm seeing to it... I'm seeing to it.
