Jay and Silent Bob travel to Hollywood to stop a movie based on their comic book characters, encountering jewel thieves who recruit them to steal an orangutan. After freeing Suzanne and other animals, they become fugitives pursued by a federal marshal who mistakes them for radical animal rights activists.
