INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS script

Colonel Hans Landa, a cunning SS officer, interrogates French dairy farmer Perrier LaPadite, revealing a hidden Jewish family, the Dreyfuses, and allowing teenage Shosanna Dreyfus to escape after her family is massacred. Years later, Shosanna, now operating a cinema in Paris, is courted by German war hero Fredrick Zoller, whose infatuation leads to a premiere at her theater attended by high-ranking Nazi officials, including Joseph Goebbels and Landa. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Aldo Raine leads a squad of Jewish-American soldiers, known as the Basterds, on a mission to terrorize and scalp Nazis in occupied France, eventually planning to infiltrate the premiere with the help of German movie star and double agent Bridget Von Hammersmark. The Basterds' plan goes awry during a tavern rendezvous with Von Hammersmark, resulting in a violent shootout with Gestapo Major Dieter Hellstrom, but they proceed to the premiere disguised as Italian filmmakers.
