Four friends researching local legends encounter the eccentric Firefly family after their car breaks down, leading to a night of torture and the death of one friend. As the remaining friends are brutalized, Denise's father, a former police officer, searches for them, leading to a violent police raid on the Firefly farmhouse where all officers and Donald are killed. Denise and Jerry are taken to an underground lair where they meet Dr. Satan, but Denise escapes and is picked up by Captain Spaulding. Captain Spaulding, revealed to be an accomplice of the Firefly family, shoots Denise in the head.
