1989
Detective Mason Storm's family is murdered by assassins after he uncovers political corruption, leaving him in a seven-year coma. Upon awakening, Storm, aided by nurse Andrea Simpson and his loyal partner Lieutenant O'Malley, begins a rigorous recovery and seeks to expose the corrupt politician Vernon Trent. Storm retrieves incriminating footage from his old house, leading to violent confrontations and O'Malley's death before he infiltrates Trent's mansion.
