HANCOCK script

Hancock, a disheveled and alcoholic superhero, intervenes in a bank robbery, subduing the psychopathic robber Tom, but his destructive methods draw public criticism. Horus Longfellow, a meek security guard, and his wife Mary, watch news reports of Hancock's heroics, while their son Aaron is bullied at school. Hancock saves Aaron from bullies and begins to spend time with the Longfellow family, developing a close bond with Mary, who offers to cut his hair and discusses Horus's past with him. Hancock, disturbed by nightmares and his own violent tendencies, abducts Mary and takes her to the roof of a textile building, where he is confronted by police. As the building collapses, Hancock destroys the police force, and Mary is killed in the wreckage.
