After escaping with her newborn, Jamie Lloyd is murdered by Michael Myers, prompting Dr. Loomis and survivor Tommy Doyle to investigate Michael's return to Haddonfield, where Kara Strode and her son Danny are targeted. Tommy reveals Michael is controlled by the ancient Curse of Thorn, orchestrated by a cult led by Dr. Terence Wynn, who now seeks Jamie's baby and intends to transfer the curse to Danny. As Michael systematically murders the Strode family, Kara, Danny, Tommy, and Loomis uncover the cult's hideout beneath Smith's Grove Sanitarium, confronting Wynn and discovering Jamie's baby.
