After Mr. Wing's death, his Mogwai, Gizmo, is taken to the Clamp Centre where Billy Peltzer rescues him, but Gizmo is accidentally splashed, spawning four new Mogwais. Led by the malicious Mohawk, these new Mogwais transform into Gremlins and wreak havoc throughout the high-tech Clamp Centre, consuming genetic elixirs that cause bizarre mutations. Billy, Kate, and Daniel Clamp devise a plan to defeat the Gremlins by luring them into the lobby and electrocuting them with water and electricity. Following a chaotic battle, the Gremlins are defeated, turning into green goo, and the building is saved as Billy, Kate, and Gizmo depart.
