Junior discovers he is the AI replacement, not the original, and Hen orchestrated the switch, leading to the original's embalmment. And one day, I started to wonder why that is, as I watched one of the guys wipe his fucking mouth on his napkin after eating and then blow his nose into the same napkin, which he balled up and dropped onto his plate, full of fucking snot, and very slowly, the napkin started to unfold from the ball, all on its own, as if it wanted to be seen, and that's when I realized our common seam, in each of us, is our own built-in scum. Our dirt. Our grease.
We brought you here on my first visit, the same day, he, Junior (the one standing beside him), left to live on the Installation. That was the day your mission started. When our headlights turned you on. That was the beginning. We left the rest up to you.
