With help from Flight 180 survivor Clear Rivers, Kimberly and Officer Thomas Burke learn they must save someone meant to die before them to disrupt Death's design, focusing on pregnant Isabella Cruz. As Death systematically claims the remaining survivors in elaborate accidents, Kimberly sacrifices herself by driving an ambulance into a lake, saving Thomas and Isabella. Five months later, a celebratory barbecue ends in a tragic explosion, revealing Death's design is still in motion and leaving the remaining survivors' fates uncertain.
