Despicable Me 2 script

Former supervillain Gru is recruited by AVL agent Lucy Wilde to find the thief of a PX-41 serum, leading them to suspect restaurant owner Eduardo Perez, who Gru believes is the notorious villain El Macho. While undercover, Gru's minions begin to disappear, and despite the AVL arresting another suspect, Gru discovers a secret lab beneath Eduardo's restaurant, confirming his suspicions. El Macho reveals himself with Gru's former assistant Dr. Nefario and an army of evil purple minions, offering Gru a partnership, but Gru refuses, prompting El Macho to capture Lucy and plan to launch her into a volcano. Gru, aided by his remaining minions and Dr. Nefario, battles El Macho and his forces, rescues Lucy, and subsequently marries her, continuing their lives as a family.
