Tony Fait, a high-end thief, and his crew execute a daring heist at the Jewelry Exchange, stealing a cache of black diamonds, but they are pursued by Su, a Taiwanese intelligence agent also seeking the stones. Su reveals that the black diamonds are actually a new form of weaponized plutonium, and he forces Fait to help him recover them from Ling, a ruthless arms dealer who has kidnapped Fait's daughter, Vanessa, to coerce him. Fait and Su infiltrate a prison to enlist the help of crime lord Chambers, who possesses information about Ling, while Fait's crew attempts to retrieve the stones from Chambers' office, only to find them missing. Fait is arrested, but he escapes with the help of his crew, and they formulate a plan to rescue Vanessa and recover the stones from Ling, who is preparing to sell them at an airfield.
