Cher Horowitz, a wealthy and popular high school student, navigates her privileged life in Beverly Hills, focusing on fashion, social standing, and matchmaking. She and her best friend Dionne decide to give a makeover to new student Tai Frasier, transforming her appearance and social prospects, and Cher attempts to set Tai up with popular student Elton.
