Perseus, a demigod, is thrust into a divine conflict after Hades kills his family and Queen Cassiopeia's insult to Tiamat curses Joppa, leading to Princess Andromeda's destined sacrifice to the Kraken. Perseus volunteers to defeat the Kraken, embarking on a perilous journey with soldiers and the Earth Goddess Vidalia, facing monsters like Humbaba and Kalibos, and learning from the Norn Sisters that only Medusa's head can defeat the beast. After a fierce battle, Perseus slays Medusa, but the expedition is imperiled by Set's pursuit and Joppa's growing chaos, culminating in Perseus killing Set after a moment of intimacy with Vidalia. Returning to Joppa, Perseus saves Andromeda and the city by turning the Kraken to stone with Medusa's head, then accepts his destiny as a hero after meeting his true father, Zeus, at the royal funeral.
