1998
Cecil B. DeMented, a self-styled underground cinema terrorist leader, kidnaps glamorous Hollywood movie star Honey Whitlock during the premiere of her new film in Baltimore. Cecil and his gang, the Sprocket Holes, force Honey to star in their radical film, which involves disrupting mainstream movie sets and attacking the film industry. As Honey is dragged from one cinematic act of rebellion to another, she initially resists but slowly begins to embrace the anarchic spirit of Cecil's crew. The gang's escalating acts of sabotage and their pursuit by the authorities culminate in a final, explosive confrontation at a film festival, where Honey ultimately chooses to side with Cecil and his vision.
