Patience Price, a timid graphic designer, discovers a dangerous secret about Avenal Beauty's new anti-aging cream, Beaunique, which causes disfigurement and is being covered up by CEO Georges Avenal and his wife, Laurel. After being murdered by Georges' henchmen and dumped in a river, Patience is resurrected by an Egyptian Mau cat named Midnight and a coven of cats, granting her superhuman feline abilities. Embracing her new identity as Catwoman, Patience seeks revenge on those who wronged her, uncovering a conspiracy involving a bioweaponized version of Beaunique called YP-3, which Georges plans to sell to an arms dealer. Catwoman confronts Laurel, who reveals herself as the true mastermind behind the Beaunique formula and Patience's murder, leading to a climactic battle where Laurel is defeated and the YP-3 bioweapon is neutralized.
