1997
In 1977, nightclub owner Jack Horner transforms 17-year-old busboy Eddie Adams into adult film star Dirk Diggler, who quickly becomes a sensation alongside Amber Waves and Rollergirl. Dirk's lavish lifestyle and ego lead to clashes with Jack as the industry shifts, causing his career to decline and a failed attempt at a music career. Desperate for money, Dirk, Reed, and Scotty J. engage in a disastrous drug deal that nearly costs them their lives. After hitting rock bottom, Dirk returns to Jack, who welcomes him back into the adult film industry, while Amber regains custody of her son and Rollergirl pursues her GED.
