BEAUTY AND THE BEAST script

A selfish Prince is cursed to live as a Beast until he finds true love, while in Villeneuve, Belle yearns for adventure and rejects the arrogant Gaston. Belle trades her freedom for her father's after he is imprisoned by the Beast, leading to an initial clash that evolves into a bond over shared interests. Gaston, enraged by Belle's rejection, incites the villagers to storm the castle, gravely wounding the Beast after he releases Belle to save her father. Belle returns and confesses her love just as the last petal falls, breaking the curse and transforming the Beast back into the Prince, restoring his staff, and leading to a joyous celebration.
