Colonel Styles and Warrant Officer Julia Osborne investigate a deadly incident in a hurricane-damaged Louisiana bayou involving two cadets, a dead soldier, and a missing team. Investigator Tom Hardy arrives, interrogates Cadets Raymond Dunbar and Levi Kendall, who give conflicting accounts, and flashbacks reveal Cadet Mueller killed Cadet Pike over a morphine addiction.
