After being cryogenically frozen for thirty years, 1960s British secret agent Austin Powers is reanimated to combat his arch-nemesis, Dr. Evil, who has also been frozen and now threatens the world. Austin, struggling to adapt to the 1990s, teams up with Vanessa Kensington, the daughter of his former partner, and together they travel to Las Vegas to infiltrate Dr. Evil's Virtucon organization. Dr. Evil, having stolen a nuclear warhead, demands one hundred billion dollars from the United Nations, threatening to trigger global volcanic eruptions using a powerful Vulcan drill. Austin and Vanessa infiltrate Dr. Evil's lair, evade various traps including Fembots and a dipping mechanism, and ultimately confront Dr. Evil in his control room.
