Eight-year-old Princess Anastasia is separated from her family during a palace attack caused by the evil monk Rasputin's curse. Eighteen-year-old amnesiac Anya teams up with con men Dmitri and Vladimir, who plan to present her as the lost princess to Empress Tatiana for a reward, while Rasputin repeatedly tries to kill her. In Paris, Anya is revealed to be the true Anastasia by presenting her grandmother's music box, but Rasputin lures her to the Eiffel Tower for a final confrontation. Anya defeats Rasputin and, choosing love over royalty, elopes with Dmitri, informing Tatiana of their decision.
