ALONE IN THE DARK script

Paranormal investigator Edward Carnby, infected with a spinal worm linked to ancient Abkani artifacts, teams up with archaeologist Aline Cedrac to investigate a hidden dimension and xenomorph creatures after his friend John disappears. They are pursued by Commander Burke's Bureau 713 and Dr. Lionel Hudgens, a former advisor obsessed with the Abkani, who unleashes an army of xenomorphs to open a portal to their dimension. Carnby, Aline, and Bureau 713 make a final stand at an abandoned mine, where Hudgens forces Aline to open the Abkani door before he is killed by xenomorphs, and Burke sacrifices himself to seal the portal. Carnby and Aline escape the explosion, only to find the orphanage deserted and Sister Clara dead, realizing the entire city has been abandoned.
