Billy Moore, a British drug addict and Muay Thai fighter, is incarcerated in Thailand's Klong Prem prison, where he struggles with withdrawal and the brutal environment. Inspired by a young friend, Billy seeks redemption through Muay Thai, bribing his way into the prison gym and enduring intense training to join the team. Despite winning a local tournament and undergoing a sacred ritual, his violent tendencies resurface, leading to further punishment and a doctor's warning about the dangers of continued fighting. Ultimately, Billy competes in the National tournament, defeats his opponent, and, after collapsing, chooses to return to prison, reuniting with his father and finding peace.
